The multiple essay / interview will take place on the last day of registration, according to the calendar. The essay is attached to the application file as part of it.

Admission is based on the average of the bachelor’s exam and the average of the years of study:

MLIC – the average of the bachelor’s exam; MAS – the average of the years of study.

FACULTY OF FOOD SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY

Admission is based on the average of the bachelor’s exam, the average of the years of study and on the average of the multiple choice test:

Admission is based on the average of the bachelor’s exam and the multiple choice test/ interview/essay

The essay is attached to the application file as part of it.

The ranking of the candidates will be made according to the average of the competition, in descending order.

The results of the admission contest are published on the website admitere.usamvcluj.ro.

Candidates accepted to the budget-funded programme must submit the original documents at the time of place confirmation – by signing the study contract and paying the enrolment fee (30 RON).

Accepted candidates who do not sign the study contract within the deadlines set out in the admission timetable will lose the place they have occupied.

Candidates declared accepted to the fee-paying places pay the enrolment fee, the first installment of the tuition fee (10% of the annual fee) and sign the study contract. 

Tuition fees can be paid in up to four installments.

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS:

  1. CNRED* certificate of equivalence of bachelor studies    LINK

*In order to enrol for studies in Romania, the diploma of completion of bachelor studies

must be recognised by the National Centre for the Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas. 

 If you are not able to obtain the CNRED certificate, you can send your CNRED dossier to the university at [email protected].

  1. Academic documents – Baccalaureate diploma, Bachelor’s degree 

 – copy and notarised translation into Romanian (in original);

– copy, if the document is issued in Romanian, English or French;

– copy and notarised translation (original) into Romanian for documents issued in other foreign languages.

  1. Diploma Supplement   for study programmes in Romanian 

– copy and notarised translation into Romanian (in original);

– copy and notarised translation (original) into Romanian for documents issued in other foreign languages.

  1. Identification documents
  • copy Birth certificate-copy for documents in Romanian/English/French and notarised translation into Romanian for other languages;
  • Passport;
  • Identity card;
  • Proof in case of change of name, copy for documents in Romanian, English or French and notarised translation into Romanian for other foreign languages;
  1. 3 passport-size photos (to be submitted when signing the study contract).
  2. Certificate of language competence– Romanian language B1 minimum level – issued by a qualified institution.
  • For studies in English or French – English/French language proficiency certificate – minimum level A2 – issued by a qualified institution.
  • Exception – candidates who come from countries where the official language is the same as the language of instruction, or who can provide official documents proving that they have studied in that language.
  1. Medical certificate (in an internationally recognised language- available 3 month upon delivery) certifying that the person does not suffer from contagious diseases or other conditions incompatible with their future position.

The University reserves the right to seek additional advice from a committee of

medical specialists (Labour Medicine) to approve of candidates with chronic diseases/disabilities.

  1. Admission fee – 100 RON – can be paid at the university (onsite) or by bank transfer:

The following must be specified in the proof of payment: candidate’s surname and first name, faculty and study programme.

Authentication of qualifications subject to recognition/ equivalence

  1. Apostille or suprauthentication is not required for diplomas from the Republic of Moldova. Diplomas issued prior to 2008 (as well as diplomas issued after 2008 that cannot be verified through the portal ) must be accompanied by the certificate of authenticity issued by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova, as of 01.04.2019, in copy.
  2. For states that are party to the Hague Apostille Convention, the study documents subject to equivalence/recognition must be endorsed with the Hague Apostille by the competent authorities of the issuing countries; study documents from Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Cyprus will be endorsed with the Hague Convention Apostille, other EU Member States being exempt.
  3. For countries that are NOT party to the Hague Apostille Convention, the study documents will be supraautenticated or will be accompanied by the Certificate of Authenticity issued by the competent authorities of the country of origin.

Suprauthentication is applied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country, the Romanian Embassy/Consular Office in that country and the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country and its Embassy/Consular Office in Romania and the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; for countries where there are no Romanian diplomatic missions or which do not have diplomatic missions in Romania, the study documents will be endorsed by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country

List of countries for which apostille or suprauthentication is required 

Successful candidates will sign a study contract, in person or by another notary-authorised person, by the deadline set by the admissions committee.

When signing the study contract, until the beginning of the academic year, the candidates must present all the documents from the application file in the original, otherwise the place obtained after admission will be lost.
