The selection of USAMVCN candidates for bachelor studies (by domains and study programs) for the academic year 2024-2025 is made by admission contest, based on the average obtained at the baccalaureate exam, except for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty of Animal Science and Biotechnologies, domain Biotechnologies that has specific requirements.

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has the following requirements:

Veterinary Medicine – Romanian Language:

  • Baccalaureate average mark or equivalent – 60%;
  • Biology, multiple choice test – 20%;Chemistry, multiple choice test – 20%;

Veterinary Medicine – English and French Language:

  • Baccalaureate average mark or equivalent – 90%;
  • Volunteering in animal welfare (certificates and recommendations) – 10%.

The ranking of the candidates for the programs of study Veterinary Medicine in English and French will be done in descending order of the average admission mark and of the option.

The Faculty of Animal Science and Biotechnologies, domain Biotechnologies has the following requirements:

  • Baccalaureate average mark or equivalent – 90%;
  • Motivational essay – 10%.

The Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre, domain Geodesy, specialization Land Surveying and Cadastre has the following requirement:

  • Baccalaureate average mark or equivalent – 100%

Submitting the application

All the documents (scanned) will be attached to the form as follows:

  • Name of the candidate_file UASVM CN 

The file submission period is:  May 13th – July 17th, 2024 (1600hour)

The list of admitted candidates will be published on the university’s website on 19.07.2024

AttentionAll the files which are lacking documents specified in the list below and if the application form is not fully filled in, will be rejected.

Required documents for the UNIVERSITY file:

  1. CNRED – the application form for CNRED (LINK) and the proof of payment for the equivalence fee (100 lei).

*In order to study in Romania, your high school diploma will have to be equivalent. In this regard, each candidate must obtain the Recognition of Studies online, via CNRED (National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas).

In case you are not able to obtain the Equivalence Certificate, please send us, in the UASVM file the documents requested  at point 1 (application form for CNRED and the proof of payment for the equivalence fee)!

The fee will be calculated according to the National Bank of Romania official exchange rate on the day of the payment.

  1. Proof of completion of secondary school (high school diploma/certificate):
  • for the specializations in Romanian language  – copy and certified translation in Romanian language (in original);
  • copy, if the study document is issued in Romanian, English, French language;
  • copy and certified translation (in original) in Romanian language for the documents issued in other languages.
    • If the High School Diploma is not yet issued, it is necessary to ask from the school examination center a Certificate which establishes the fact that the student sustained and passed the examination and the grade/average mark obtained

3. Proof of completion (transcript of records) of high school, with subjects and marks/points obtained:

  • for the specializations in Romanian language  – copy and certified translation in Romanian language (in original);
  • copy, if the study document is issued in Romanian, English, French language;
  • copy and certified translation (in original) in Romanian language for the documents issued in other languages;
  1. Other documents, if it is necessary

* Example: provisional certificate of Maturita from Italy, Pruebas de Aptitud para el Acceso a la Universidad, calificación Apto from Spain; Panellinies Exetaseis” – National Examination for General High Schools from Greece; eligibility certificate issued by Verket för högskoleservice from Sweden; SAT/ACT scores from USA, copy and certified translation in Romanian, except for the documents issued in English, French.

  1. Certificate of Romanian language competence minimum B2 level – issued by a qualified institution or by taking an examination to verify the linguistic competences within the USAMV CN, before submitting the competition file.

Certificate of language competence English/French – Minim B2 level, issued by an authorised institution (for the four competences – writing, speaking, listening and reading).

Exception – the candidates coming from countries where the official language of the state is the language in which the courses are being conducted or which show, with school documents, that they have attended the courses in that language.

  1. For the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Certificate of voluntary service in animal husbandry and protection of animals:

The applicants have to provide a certificate/ certificates proving the candidate’s activity in community service and/or in associations related with animal husbandry and animal protection).

  1. Identification paper – copy:
  • Birth Certificate – copy for documents in Romanian language / English / French, and authorised translation in Romanian for other languages;
  • Passport;
  • Identity card;
  • Proof of legal name change, if applicable, copy for documents in Romanian language / English / French, and authorised translation in Romanian for other languages;
  • 3 photos -passport size (will be submitted when signing the learning agreement).
  1. Medical Certificate

Medical certificate (in an international language) to prove that the person registered for studies does not suffer from spreading diseases or other illnesses that are incompatible with the future profession.

The University reserves the right to further request the opinion of a specialised medical commission (Occupational Medicine) to check candidates with chronic diseases/disabilities.

  1. Proof of payment for inscription fee The inscription fee for:

Veterinary Medicine  – Romanian Language is 120 RON;

Veterinary Medicine – English and French Language is 150 EURO;

For all the other specialisations from our University, the tuition fee is  100 RON.

The tuition Fee for Veterinary Medicine in English and French is 7500 Euro / year.

Authentication of study documents

  1. Diplomas from Moldova do not need any form of authentication. Diplomas issued before 2008 (and diplomas issued after 2008 which cannot be verified on line) shall be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the Ministry of Education of Moldova which shall be submitted, starting on 01.04.2019, in copy;
  2. The Hague Apostille is requested for diplomas from countries which are parties to the Hague Apostille, issued by the competent authorities in the issuing countries. The Hague Apostille is requested for diplomas from Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Cyprus;
  3. Diplomas issued in countries which are not parties to the Hague Apostille Convention shall be authenticated or accompanied by an authentication certificate from by the competent authorities in the issuing countries:
    • Legalisation/Authentication is done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the issuing country, the Embassy/Consular Office of Romania in the issuing country and the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the issuing country, the issuing country’s Embassy/Consular Office in Romania and the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; for countries where Romania does not have a diplomatic mission or countries which do not have diplomatic missions in Romania, the study documents shall be legalised by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the issuing country;
    • Legalisation/Authentication exemption is allowed under the law of an international treaty to which Romania is party or on a reciprocity basis.

The candidates declared admitted will sign the learning agreement (personally or by another person based on a notary power of attorney) within the deadline set by the Admission Commission.

When signing the contract, it is compulsory to present all the documents in the Application File, in original.
